I grew up in the hills, meadows, and rivers of Vermont, my mother a teacher, and my father a carpenter. Playing in nature and witnessing the gracefully simple life of the Green Mountain State instilled in me a deep reverence for a mindfully lived life.
I evolved and was shaped by my time at Bennington College inspired by its legacy of empowering young women to think boundlessly and create fearlessly. In my time there, I studied abroad in Nepal, following my interests in religion, and sacred geography. I graduated with a concentration in anthropology and photography.
In the following years, I worked on several small organic vegetable farms in Vermont, Alaska, and Arizona. I love the meditative life of living on the land and being guided by each season, weather pattern, and harvestable fruit.
In 2012, I traveled to the jungle of Costa Rica to complete my yoga teacher training with Frog Lotus Yoga International, to Suryalila Yoga Retreat Center in southern Spain to deepen my yoga and manage a farm, and to Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal to study Tibetan Buddhist meditation & philosophy. I fell in love with Thai Yoga Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand during a two-week immersion in 2013.
The compassionate energetic exchange and loving touch of Thai Massage inspired me to complete the massage program at East West College of The Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon in 2015, focusing on craniosacral, myofascial, and deep tissue techniques. In 2019, I completed a prenatal massage training while I was pregnant with my daughter.
I am now a certified massage therapist, Thai Massage practitioner, yoga teacher, and yoga teacher trainer with Frog Lotus Yoga International living and working in Northfield, VT.
I am ever grateful to all my teachers; plant, human, and animal.
